Campaigns

With campaigns, you can send bulk messages within your messaging limit. For example, you can run a marketing campaign, announce a product launch, send “Happy new year” messages and other similar messages with campaigns.

Your campaign message is a message template that you must submit to WhatsApp for approval first. Only if the customer service window for all of your intended audience is still open, you do not need to use a message template for your campaign.

You may send your message to all your customers whose WhatsApp numbers you have, or filter your audience based on:

  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Contact creation date
  • Customer tags
  • Many other data attributes

You could include variables in your campaign message template to personalize it for your recipients. Rasayel automatically fills the variables based on the recipients data when sending the message. The variables could be:

  • name
  • Location
  • Customer’s role
  • And other data attributes

For example, a campaign message template could be as the following:

Hello {{1}}, thanks for being our customer. We have launched a new service called auto-responder. It is for {{2}} in {{3}}, like yourself. If you’d like to try it, reply with YES and I’ll tell you more about it.

Once you run this campaign, the 3 variable fields get filled automatically based on the customer information. A customer named Alex, who is a project manager in the UAE, would receive the message as below:

Hello Alex, thanks for being our customer. We have launched a new service called auto-responder. It is for Project Managers in the UAE, like yourself. If you’d like to try it, reply with YES and I’ll tell you more about it.
