Notes: Keep Relevant Information in One Place

To activate note mode, you can either use the toggle switch in the bottom right corner of the composer or use the shortcut “N” when the composer is inactive.
Once activated, the message window will turn yellow and change to note mode, allowing you to write and share notes with your team.
Now, team members can leave a message in the customer chat, which will be only visible to the team and not to the customers.
Mentions: Ensure Everyone Sees Important Conversations
If you want to make sure someone on your team sees a conversation, you can use the “mention” feature. Simply turn on note mode and mention one of your teammates by typing “@” followed by the name of the teammate. This way, they’ll be notified immediately and directed to the conversation.
To view all your mentions, click the menu icon to open the slide-out navigation.
Then click on the @Mentions button to see a list of all the conversations where you’ve been mentioned.
When you see a mention message with a blue dot, it means it hasn’t been opened yet.
Click on the message to go directly to the conversation where your name was mentioned.
Mentions are an effective way to communicate with the right people and share relevant information among teammates. But to ensure you never miss a mention, it’s important to activate push notifications.
How to Turn on Notifications for Mentions
- Click on the gear icon in the bottom left corner of your screen and then click Notifications.
- Check the box next to the types of notifications you want to receive.
